Kinsey grew up in Wisconsin, where winters were cold, but Montana winters? Whole different ballgame. When she moved here a few years ago, she quickly realized that a 4-wheel drive and snow tires weren’t just nice to have—they were survival tools. Erik, on the other hand, is Montana through and through. Born and raised in Billings, he’s been tackling Montana roads since he could reach the pedals. He knows firsthand that switching to snow tires isn’t optional—it’s a necessity.

Together, we saw a problem: garages overflowing with tires, people wrestling them around for seasonal swaps, and no easy solution. So, we decided to fix it. Tipton’s Tires was born out of our love for a good idea, a little grit, and a whole lot of community spirit.

We’re entrepreneurial at heart and always dreamed of building something that makes a real difference. Now, we get to do just that—helping our neighbors free up space and stay safe on the road, all with a little Montana flair.
